I am a tenured associate professor of counseling and teach a variety of masters and doctoral level courses, including clinical skills, multicultural counseling, foundations and ethics of counseling, eating disorders, qualitative research methods, advanced group counseling skills, practicum and internship. One of my all time favorite courses is the equine assisted psychotherapy course, where our counseling students get to experience horses as facilitators for the first time.

In addition, as a member of various counseling organizations, I am involved in advocacy, leadership, and research, by presenting at state and national conferences, as well as publishing in peer reviewed journals.
